Ravensdale Poll herefords aim is simple - to be a leading seed stock producer focusing on commercially important traits, producing fit and fertile bulls with growth and finishing ability.

With a registered herd of over 350 breeding females and around 150 heifer calves annually vying for a place in our herd. There is alot of pressure on females to perform and remain in the herd or for heifers to be selected to come into the herd.

Over the past three years Ravensdale Poll Herefords has participated in The Stock & Land Beef week heifer challenge covering Victoria, Southern NSW and North East South Australia. Generally over forty stands consisting of all breeds participate.

From the superior cows purchases we have harvested and placed over 1,000 embryos with the goal being to create a productive young performance orientated cow herd. This process continues with our embryo program placing embryos annually to assist with accelerating the genetic gain we are pursuing our goals.
